Liberia Airport is already under construction
The first good news is that the much-awaited expansion of the Liberia airport is already underway and on firm footing. If progress continues at the present rate, arrivals to Guanacaste after August of this year will be very different: A two story terminal, boarding ramps, more amenities, new commercial areas, more service personnel and expedited processing through Immigration and Customs. Surfing Real Estate
After a very quiet 2009 and 2010 the real estates sales started to pick up in January 2011. In the past there was plenty of interest, but very little decisions. It has definitely changed now, in fact it came in several waves with up to 4 offers in one day. Many of the purchasers are already living in Tamarindo or own property in the area.
