My wife and I are from the US and are planning to move to Costa Rica and we first reached out to ABC Real Estate to inquire about a property listing. Jogi, the owner of this business got back to us quickly and professionally. He recommended we meet via Zoom to further discuss our vision, plan and dreams. From the moment we met on Zoom, I could tell he was an outstanding human and realtor. Truly, someone I was excited in life to meet the acquaintance of. When we got down to Costa Rica and met up with Jogi in Tamarindo, he toured us around 7 different properties that met our requirements, and throughout the day, he also schooled us on the area, region, and country—from culture to cuisine. At the end of day one, he offered to give us a tour of Tamarindo the next morning, and we took him up on the offer. He spent about 90 minutes driving us around the city, breaking down the neighborhoods and politics. We ended up on a mountain top estate with gorgeous views overlooking the city and beach—it was breathtaking. When it comes to working with a realtor in a foreign country, it can feel very vulnerable. Trust is huge. I don’t typically write reviews, but I am compelled to write this review because if you are in a similar position as my wife and I, then I am here to tell you that you can trust Jogi and his company ABC. We toured approx. 45 properties along the Gold Coast, from Santa Teresa up to Playa Hermosa (the Hermosa North of Coco), and Jogi was hands down the best realtor we worked with. By best I mean, a genuinely thoughtful human being that was honest, kind, outgoing and extremely knowledgable. There was actually another realtor up in Hermosa who referred to Jogi as an OG of the area. I guess he’s been practicing real estate in Tamarindo for 17 years. Wow! Thanks for everything Jogi!
